Begin Again

"I celebrate my life, my breath, and the chance to begin again."

Say this out loud —

I celebrate my life.
I celebrate my breath.
I celebrate the chance to begin again.
I'm not starting over—I'm returning stronger.
There is no shame in the reset.
Only power in the return.

There's a moment Brené Brown doesn't often lead with—but it changed
everything.

After the viral success of her TED Talk on vulnerability, she found
herself overwhelmed. The sudden visibility triggered everything she had
studied: shame, fear of exposure, the desperate desire to self-protect.
Instead of celebrating, she curled up on the couch, flooded with doubt.
Could she keep doing this? Could she keep telling the truth in public
without losing herself in private?

She didn't push through. She paused. She broke down. She let go of the
version of herself she thought she had to be. And then—she began
again. Not as someone who had conquered vulnerability, but as someone
willing to keep showing up inside it.

That was her override.

Brené didn't get a new assignment. She chose a new rhythm.
She said yes again, this time from a deeper place.
She built boundaries. She told the truth. She became a more integrated
version of herself.

She celebrated the breath that remained. She honored the courage to
return. The power isn't in the breakthrough. It's in the reset.

You don't need to be perfect.
You just need to come back.

"The steadfast love of the Divine never ceases.
Mercies are new every morning."
—Adapted from Lamentations

Sit somewhere quiet.
Place your hand on your chest.
Take three deep breaths.
Then say, out loud:
"This is not the end. I get to begin again."
Let that become your morning rhythm this week.

Where today did I give myself permission to begin again?
What felt different when I did?

I am not behind.
I am becoming.
I celebrate my breath.
I celebrate my presence.
I celebrate this new beginning.
